Fashion week has just wrapped up in New York and kicked off in London, leaving behind a stockpile of street style photos in its wake. I love seeing the most stylish people in the city amp up their game, don't you?

The first thing I noticed was all of the color:

It finally feels like fall!

For me, the most quintessential indicator of Autumn's arrival is the changing of the leaves. The tree outside my living room window is starting to tinge yellow, which reminds me of the color I'm most excited to rock this season..

I know what you're thinking--yes, that took a long time to make. I also know what else you're thinking, and you are so welcome for bringing this underdog of colors to your attention.

Note the beautiful bevvy of skintones above. From fairly dark (Dior) to obscenely pale (tie between Hermes and Gucci), mustard looks rockin on each and every one of them. I also love that this color can be totally in your face but still not overwhelming, and creates a dramatic statement in both head-to-toe yellow or as a peek of hued tights.

First Look: Jason Wu for Target

Here we go again!

Assuming Target has learned from the Missoni for Target debacle, I'm going to go ahead and get excited for its latest collab--with Jason Wu!

Known for his elegant yet fuss-free designs, Wu gained his fame in 2009 when First Lady Michelle Obama wore his stunning white one-shoulder floor-length gown to the Inaugural Ball, setting off an instant flutter of "Who designed that?" Twitter and Google searches.

Wu's Target collection will feature apparel, handbags and scarves ranging from $20-$60, and hits shelves February 5th--hopefully for more than 20 minutes this time.

A Modern-Day Leia

There has been a lot of hubbub surrounding the recent Blu-ray release of Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Episodes I-VI), especially concerning the latest round of changes (Ewoks blink!) and if the 83849th re-release of the series is entirely necessary (of course!). As a somewhat-new Star Wars fan, I'm pretty excited to see what else Lucas tweaked to fit his vision. Honestly, I wish they'd re-shoot I-III with more charismatic actors, but I digress--this is a fashion blog!

Throughout the saga, Princess Leia dons several iconic outfits (metal bikini, anyone?), inspiring legions of Comic-Con copycats and nerd-boy fantasies for decades to come. As a nerd girl, my fantasies are of a different variety--what would she have worn today? Here's my guess:

J.Crew Swimwear Sale

I don't quite remember when swimsuits were suddenly averaging $80 bucks a pop, but I do know that I haven't bought a swimsuit in three years for this reason. That is, until last week, when I came across a massive treasure trove--at J.Crew, of all places!

J.Crew is the kind of place where I head straight to the sale section (some day I'll know I've made it when I no longer have to shop online from "low to high"), and even then I can rarely take the plunge. But last week, in the middle of a miserable sick day, I found myself browsing the sale page again and was pleasantly surprised. I'll show you what I mean:

Ruched Betty French top, $20 (was $48) and ruffled bottom, $15 (was $44)

An ENTIRE bathing suit for less than the original price of just one piece?! Madness! And that's not all--there are currently 253 separates and one-piece suits on sale, ranging from $10-$99 in a highly tropical spectrum of colors. I freaking love end-of-season sales.

Needless to say, I got myself a new two-piece for next summer.

Thakoon's Fashion Week makeup look

SO sorry I've been MIA this week, dolls. I've been battling a pretty vicious cold and I've hardly been able to put together a coherent sentence, let alone a blog post. But in a medicine-induced haze, I did manage to find these two images showcasing Thakoon's behind-the-scenes NARS makeup concept and its real-life counterpart.

I adore the bold eyebrow look, which is the stand-out feature here, along with the accentuated cheekbones. The nude lips and soft brown eyeshadows blend into the model’s skin tone, allowing the eyebrows and cotton-candy hair to take center stage.

Thakoon does Cowboys & Indians for Spring '12

Well, now I know why I wasn't invited to Thakoon's Spring '12 ready-to-wear show for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week--security would have had a hard time keeping me from tackling these models and running off with their clothes.

Hands-down, my favorite look of the collection.

Colorful paisley leads the inspirational transition from cowboy handkerchief to Indian sari.

I bet the details on the neckline are out of this world.

I would have snatched up every single one of these bold Bollywood-meets-Hollywood Western looks, leaving behind tufts of cotton-candy colored hair in my wake. I love that the show started with an oversaturated cowboy flair and slowly morphed into sweet, flowy fabrics reminiscent of saris in India. The two-tone hats (which I also would have left on the runway--I'm not a hat person) were designed by milliner Heather Huey.

Zara launches e-commerce in the US

The heavens parted, and the Fashion Gods said unto us: Zara now offers online shopping in the US!

Didn't it feel like this day would never come?

Admittedly, my Midtown office is surrounded by Zara stores and I rarely find myself in any of them. But I do have my moments when I ~~would kill for~~ ~~need~~ see an item on a blog, etc, and just can't find it anywhere. It's too early to tell if my sartorial woes have been solved, but I'll gladly welcome another opportunity to shop--especially where most of the goods haven't already been picked over.

Shoes are my favorite accessory--I know, such a typical girl. When I plan an outfit, I almost always start with my shoes. It's a simple process: factor in the weather, the day's activities, amount of walking and a general idea of what I'd like to pair them with. My shoe collection isn't lavish or outlandish, but I do think I am in dire need of some serious hardware this fall. These are my picks:

I've been out of school for two years, but the excitement of back-to-school shopping has yet to fade. Coupled with the euphoria that comes with wearing my boots again, the end of summer has always held a place in my heart.

If you're entering a new school year, you probably want something pretty to put all of those expensive books in, right? I never carried a legit bookbag throughout college, so my bags of choice were more similar to these:

I own this massive BDG tote in yellow, but it looks perfectly fall in this low-key taupe color. This is especially useful if you're a morning-after kind of girl (or guy)--put a daytime-appropriate outfit in this baby and never fear the walk of shame again!

Talk about classy! Ok, bad pun, whatever. But really, if you've moved on from the fact that you can wear pajamas every day for class, because that definitely doesn't mean you should, take it up a notch by lugging this sexy little thing across campus.

H&M Magazine Fall 2011

Wait.. where did the week go? I can't believe it's Monday again, already! Well dolls, my apologies for another mini hiatus. Let me make it up to you with a few shots from the latest H&M Magazine, featuring a beautiful blend of 40s- and 70s-inspired silhouettes.

By far, my favorite items shown here are the coats and blouses. I also love the look of the tall black boots with the wooden stacked heel, but definitely need to check out that "leather" in person. Also, how incredibly stunning is model Magdalena Frackowiak?

By the way, it's raining in NYC! I took advantage of the lower temps and soggy sidewalks and brought my favorite boots out of exile. I've missed them so much!

Hello ladies and gents! Sorry for the accidental mini-vacay, I've had a whirlwind past few days. Highlights: attended the first taping for Anderson Cooper's brand new daytime talk show, landed and started a (very, very) short-term temp position at a publishing house and spent an entire day drinking for a friend's biergarten birthday. This past week=winning.

However, today was definitely one of those days where you could find me standing in front of my closet for hours, pondering the dreaded first-day-of-work outfit. I landed on a simple printed sheath dress, but in my dream land, I kind of wish I could have worn this:

Granted, you can get away with a lot of clothing options in a creative environment, so perhaps this isn't for everyone's workplace. I love the fact that the outfit itself is fairly understated, but the killer shoes and major cuff give this ensemble its kick (though I personally would be 6'3 in those Tory Burch beauties). And it should be noted that I have crazy love for nude nails lately.

Also note: I don't give a damn about matching my shoes and bag. Yes, I said it!

First Look: Missoni for Target

The first Missoni for Target ad has surfaced, and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! It stars none other than Margherita Missoni herself, brand ambassador and heiress, strolling about the streets of Milan clad in an enviable abundance of zigzag-print glory.

The collaboration will feature 400+ pieces of clothing, accessories, dinnerware and decor. I have a feeling my apartment is going to be very colorful come September..

Already on my shopping list? The laptop case (!!), scarf, and (seemingly) overhead storage-friendly carry-on. I just hope this doesn't turn into another quality letdown, like a few previous Target collabs (I am still upset with you, Zac Posen!).

Stylist Marina Muñoz headed to the men's closet for this Vogue.com editorial, proving that women can do anything--including rock head-to-toe menswear.

Muñoz focused on proportions, such as bulky sweaters paired with slim jeans, and femine accessories, like the Mui Mui curved-heel platforms in the first photo, to lighten up the masculine silhouette.

I've been known to pinch a thing or two from the men's (and sometimes boy's) department, so I am loving these ideas. It seems like men's clothing is almost always less expensive, and way, way more comfortable!

Tattoo Stories

I'm in love with this photo that a friend of mine took this weekend.

If you're new to the blog, you may not know that my dad passed away June 3rd of this year. I immediately knew that I wanted a tattoo to honor his memory, and that it must feature the yin-yang--his favorite symbol.

The placement was tricky territory, but since my field is a generally a creative environment, I felt confident that future employers wouldn't get hung up on a little wrist action. And if they do, ~~who wants to work for them, anyway?~~ I'll slap on some bracelets.

Do you have any tattoos? Do they hold a deep significance?

Also, happy August, Virgos! You know what this means.. my birthday is coming up! Ahem, size 7 please. :)

Cedar Point, here I come! Time for a day of sun, rollercoasters and thrill rides.

Luckily, I grew up only an hour away from America's Roller Coast, so in my many summers of experience dangling from steel tracks, I've picked up these tips to dress like a true ride warrior:

Stay away from huge necklaces or earrings that are going to hit you in the face at 93MPH.
Wear comfortable, breathable shoes! The little heel on these HoH sandals should help provide more support than cheap rubber flip flops.
Bring a change of clothes if you plan to go on water rides. Or wear clothes that won't cling and take forever to dry (like jean shorts). These 3.1 Phillip Lim shorts are made of cotton!
Don't forget the sunscreen..
Simply rock a cute bangle, just because I effin' love accessories.

After a day of running around and catching up with Ohio friends, I'm finally back to settle for a minute before heading out again to see my grandma. That's the trouble with coming home every six months--I've built up a lot of people to visit.

Anywho, just thought it would be nice to show my face (and outfit!) on ocassion. After all, how credible can someone be, attempting to dish out style advice, when I could just be chillin in a Snuggie and pajama jeans 24/7?

So, I convinced my mom to take a few pics before she mentioned "our neighbors must think we're crazy" (as if watching us run around catching chickens isn't already a sign), so I didn't realize I forgot to smile. Blogging is serious business.

Kate Spade meets Current/Elliot

WWD reports that Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, founders of It-girl denim label Current/Elliot, have designed a capsule collection for Kate Spade. It will feature six styles that range in price from $245 to $1,295 (yowza!), and apparently will be beautiful.

I have been fawning over this bag for two days. Ostrich leather and suede? Be mine. I am really hoping it falls on the $245 end of the spectrum, and then maybe (maybe?) I can catch it on sale/eBay for like, $150 some day.

Obviously, I'm a fan of wishful thinking.

Falling in love is not something I do often.. especially with accessories.

Actually, scratch that--that's a blatant lie. Especially when I spotted this falcon necklace, modeled exactly after the pendant of the Egyptian god Horus that was found in King Tut's tomb. We've gone over the fact that I'm a dork, right? Good. Anyway, I nearly cried when I found out it was more than $200--also known as 1/4 my rent.

However, with my super sleuthing skills, I've found an almost-identical replica.. for less than $30.

Horus necklace, $20 (plus shipping) on eBay (there are 6 more available!)

These necklaces are even made of the same material--brass and enamel. And both are handmade (cheaper labor in Cairo?). The beaded chain is different, but surely not worth the extra $190. There's even a tiny shot of it in a Free People promo video (at 1:04.. listen, I get obsessed with things) that makes me feel like any differences here lie in better photography at FP. Maybe someone can enlighten me here?

Regardless, I'm so glad I've found this less expensive version and am eagerly awaiting its arrival. Have you ever had a similar experience where you've gotten something possibly pricey on the way, way cheap?

Loves to get naked

Urban Decay 'Naked' 12-shadow palette, $48 at Sephora

I'm not cool enough to get my favorite makeup palettes sent to me for free (yet), but I did pick up this dandy in Sephora the other day and can not get enough. I was just looking for a simple gold, but as soon as I spotted this multi-shadow beauty I had to get it. It's incredibly diverse for a range of neutrals, featuring shimmery and matte shades, both light and dark. I'm just so pumped to pretend that I have makeup skills, haha.

So far, I've been rocking "Half Baked," which is the perfect gold for my Rihanna/Beyonce blend skin-tone. I also love "Sin," a shimmery pink champagne, in the corner of my eyes to brighten the whole look.

It's safe to say I'm not the kind of girl who places her groceries in a $275 bag, but if I ever come across one, I'll proudly let you know that I gave her a good punch in the face. Just kidding..

I'm assuming that the "grocery bag" title leans more toward the aesthetic than the purpose, but then again, the ostentatious people without hired help do need something to take to the supermarket, right? Paper or plastic? No thanks, I'd rather a bag that costs more than an entire month of groceries!

Enough hating.. I'd totally use it. Wouldn't buy it, but if it came to me by any kind of generous windfall, you bet my groceries would officially be ridin' first class.

3. I am 5'11, and I have a 36" inseam. That means it's really, really hard to find jeans that fit! I also wear a size 10 shoe, which I lovingly refer to as "size ugly."
4. I have a horrible memory. Probably the worst you'll ever encounter, short of Alzheimer's. It takes patience to be my friend.
5. My dream home/wardrobe could be ripped straight from any Anthropologie catalog.

What I am about to say is going to forever incriminate me as incredibly nerdy: I love stargazing. Not checking out celebrities, and not looking at the sky and simply noticing its beauty. I'm that girl that trips on the cracks in the sidewalk at night because she's too busy looking up and trying to teach her friends how to find North by guidance of Polaris and, depending on the season*, helping them find their Zodiac's constellation.

Yeah, that kind of nerd. I'm also a romantic, and have yet to go on a stargazing date! Can you imagine teaching your significant other (or learning together!) how to spot Orion** in the middle of an open field? This is what I would wear:

Love!

I'm completely pooped from getting only two hours of sleep before waking up to get ready at 4am, so let's just take a day off and have a mind-blowingly awesome post on Monday*.

Although street style shots aren't de rigueur* at LightsSoBright, my boyfriend and I found a bajillion beautiful spots in my neighborhood and couldn't help but to take pictures all over the place.

Yesterday was a beautiful, slightly breezy Brooklyn day, perfect for a trip to the park. The maxi dress shielded my legs from the occasional chilly gusts of wind, and I'm absolutely in love with the crochet details on the back. Also, everyone should own a giant bag they can possibly live in, should the need arise.

It has recently come to my attention that many people do not know the difference between cheetah and leopard print, which is an issue I plan to solve. It can be confusing at first, but once you learn the difference, you'll never be wrong again!

Funny how electronics aren't waterproof, right?

In a fitting death, my laptop has met its demise via one unfortunate tipping of the wine glass. Future lesson: never paint your nails while drinking wine and watching Hulu. At least, that's how it happened for me..

For the past week I've been borrowing my boyfriend's laptop as a temporary solution while I comparison shop for computers (which is the absolute last thing I need as an unemployed gal with a steadily dwindling bank account). One bright spot in a cloudy day--after owning my previous laptop for the past six years, I guess I didn't realize how sexy computers have gotten!

I have no idea if Macs are worth their price in the war against PCs, but in my dream world that is too rich to care, this 15" Macbook Pro is the beauty I'd own next:

In addition to this blog, I also have a Tumblr to keep track of everything I think is awesome on the Internet. One of them is model Coco Rocha, and her Tumblr has officially captured my heart.

Social media is an amazing resource to learn more about models, celebrities, designers, magazines and bloggers (speaking of, are you following LightsSoBright yet?). I've never felt so close to the likes of Chris Benz, Nicole Richie and the Zoe. Also, thanks to social media, we've found out how ridiculously awesome Erika Bearman, aka OscarPRGirl, is.

Back to Coco Rocha, there are billions of things to gush over (like her work with Haiti, tearsheets from her ad campaigns, semi-wishing I were her, etc), most recently I'm crazy obsessing over these animated GIFs, created with photographer Jamie Beck.

Subtle, but captivating.

Today was a glorious day, for I shed my trusty peacoat and donned a light, breezy trench while running errands! Didn't it seem like winter would never end?

While I fully believe that Mother Nature could unload some fresh snow on us at any minute (my family in Ohio is still dealing with it!), I took advantage of this 52° day as an opportunity to remind myself that this dismal cold is almost over. A lightweight coat has never felt better.

Way preppier than anything I own, and yet I can't imagine wearing anything else this spring.

Simple and incredibly elegant is how I aspire to dress, reflecting the fact that my life is in order. Until then, I'll be drooling over this necklace as I eat grilled cheese sandwiches and blog.

Target GO, redux

While I admire Target's foray into fashion, I never really found its GO collabs to be all that fashionable. Watered-down fabrics to fit a very strict budget just didn't turn out well for most designers (I'm sorry, Zac Posen, but I'm looking at you), and I never bought a thing. I must not have seen these dresses, though, because I can't seem to remember why I passed them up the first time around!

From May 4th to July 31st, the Met is hosting the Costume Institute's Alexander McQueen retrospective, arranged by mood and feeling rather than chronological order. Yesterday, the Ritz London held the preview, and these chill-inducing photographs have slowly begun to surface.

Wouldn't miss it for the world. In fact, I plan to pitch a dress-shaped tent and live here. Long live McQueen!

Snow is melting, I am shopping

Has it really been more than a month since I've updated? Gracious! Let's blame it on my new 40-to-50-hour work week, which has been temporarily kicking my butt for the past six weeks.

My NYFW bliss

Ladies and gentlemen, my life has been made: I had the pleasure of attending Betsey Johnson's NYFW show!

If you haven't seen the hype (airbrushed-lace wigs! So many animal prints, ruffles and sweaters I want to steal! Store employees as models!), check out NY Mag's coverage of this insane event. For how I snuck backstage, stay here.

Sometimes, you just know you'll hate yourself if you don't take advantage of an opportunity. After the show, I noticed some guests headed toward the exit, and a few others walking backstage. I've been known to press my luck at concerts to meet my favorite bands, and decided, what's the worst that can happen?

How about a steady flow of champagne, schmoozing with the Pink Patch models and witnessing the incomparable Betsey Johnson and Patricia Field goof around like BFFs. I felt like a total creeper, but luckily no one asked me what I was doing or who I was!

I didn't get to meet Betsey, she was doing interviews and surrounded by people the entire time, but I am so glad I was able to witness her tremendous energy.


I'm not sure why my phone spazzed on Patricia Field's elbow.. possibly because I was a spazzy mess, as well?

I took video of the final walk, including Betsey pulling Patricia on the runway for a little dance, but the audio is terrible (it was so loud that the bass was shaking my seat the entire time) and the lights from the runway make everyone look like ghosts.

I can't wait until NYFW is a steady part of my life! The few hours that I experienced were so much fun, and Betsey Johnson was one hell of a crash-course.

I can't even pretend that things aren't 10x more hilarious at this point (though I hope my grammar is still on point). Ladies and gents, there is nothing, and I repeat, NOTHING, that I love more than a great sale. I start to shiver, and occasionally I come across an item so perfect that it tempts tears to my eyes. Don't judge, I'm about to share a few with you!

In keeping with my resolution's closet purge, which is way harder than I thought it would be, I have already started shopping to fill the not-yet-empty spaces.

I've been searching for ages for a great pair of twill or ponte pants to ease the burden on my black skinny jeans, aka my uniform. Unfortunately, I didn't get up the nerve to buy the moss brown pair and stuck with basic black, but if they are as perfect as I hope, I may go back for seconds!

Black Swan Style

In the list of things that have blown my mind recently, Black Swan ranks right up top. Besides Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis being hottie little sexpots and the insane dancing, this psycho-thriller with tutus had me on edge for both its cringe-inducing scenes and breathtaking costume design by Rodarte.

FEATHERS.

The Mulleavy sisters took this movie to an entirely different level with sensual and feminine yet dark pieces. I'm sensing that upcoming Fashion Week shows will be heavily influenced by this flick, especially considering the new ballet-themed BCBG Max Azria holiday collection has already taken hold. I doubt I'll hop on the tutu bandwagon, but I am definitely willing to give feathers a test drive, starting with these hot pieces.

Style Resolutions

I am all about resolutions, omens, horoscopes and fresh starts. Pair that with sparkles, a great dress and a flowing supply of champagne, and you get one of my favorite holidays!

Although I make resolutions all throughout the year (and call them to-do lists to make 'em stick!), New Year's Eve is all about evaluating where your life was one year ago, seeing how far you've come and noting what you would like to accomplish next. My resolutions last year? To get signed with a modeling agency, create my blog and become an assistant editor at a fashion magazine. Yeah, the rest of you can go and lose five pounds, I'm getting my life in order over here!

So, that brings me to today. In just a few hours we will be propelled into an entirely new year, and though only a second separates the two, I am more than ready to drop 2010 into the past. My resolutions this year are a little more private (though I'd still like to get that job..), but the main one I'd like to share is so easy yet necessary:

Cue the confetti..

If I didn't wear it in 2010, I won't wear it in 2011.

That green shirt that says 'Cow Tipping'? Say hello to Goodwill. A vintage top that I still haven't found an outfit for? Peace out. A giant orange wool sweater that I thought was 'so New York' until I moved to New York? Not gonna happen.

The fact is, I look in my closet and I feel uninspired by clothes I no longer love or that define me. My style has changed exponentially throughout 2010, shouldn't my closet reflect that? I feel that there are a lot of people out there in a similar boat. Get rid of the clutter! I plan to pare down to about 60 percent of the items I currently own. Salvation Army better send a truck!

Christmas Cooking

For those of you celebrating/cooking tomorrow (or tonight!), get into the spirit with flavors and spices of the season. I'm not a chef by any means (unless you count spaghetti.. then I'm pretty boss), but I made this pumpkin dump cake for Thanksgiving with my Florida family, and it was such a hit! And I don't even like pumpkin-flavored foods!

Basically, a pumpkin dump cake is a hodgepodge of ingredients dumped into one tasty dessert. I'm making this again for Christmas for my mom's side of the family!

It didn't last long.. at all!

Holiday Shine

New Year's Eve is around the corner, along with any other holiday gatherings requiring festive sparkles and other shiny things. Sequins for daytime have recently been approved by the stylish powers that be (just keep it low-key to avoid looking like the Time's Square ball), and I for one couldn't be more excited.

Let's start with nails, the easiest and least expensive wardrobe update to hit this trend.

Decorating my ridiculously festive nails is celebrity manicurist Deborah Lippmann's "Superstar," a hot brown gel with copper glitter flakes. If this color isn't your style, lucky for you, Deborah happens to be the queen of glitter polishes.

LightsSoBright, redux

When we last spoke, I was stuck at an identity-stealing retail job (No makeup! No nail polish! No piercings!), ending one editorial internship while starting my style editorial internship with a New York magazine and taking on a freelance editing position (phew!).

Now, I've been living in Brooklyn for a little more than a year, I do a little more shopping than dreaming and I finally own a trenchcoat (so NY!). After seven months, I left my style internship last week in order to fully focus on my future and how to get there. I'm still freelancing (gotta eat!), but I just can't wait any longer to begin my career.

So now, we enter LightsSoBright: Phase Two. I won't be taking outfit shots (like I was all that great most days, anyway;D). Instead, I'll be reporting on my favorite things, happenings in New York and the fashion world and whatever catches my shinysparkly fancy.

I mean, I'm constantly Internet shopping/budgeting/browsing/tormenting myself, anyway. I may as well pass the goods on to you!

I think I may have killed my camera!

Nearly every photo taken more than three feet away is blurry. Any help? I've had this camera for more than a year, so it's not that I'm doing it wrong.. right? Frustrated.

I'll update when I get it working.. or if I officially declare it deceased.

My electronics luck is just silly lately. Just last week I went back to Ohio, laying by the pool when a bug flew down my shirt.. I stood up to get it out and *kick!* my phone goes for a swim.

Fastest reaction time of my life.

Here she goes again!

It feels good to be back. I had to take a break--this blog (and keeping up with so many other great blogs!) was giving me the greatest urge to shop. But now that my internship is over, I need something to keep me in the journalism/writing game until I start my lil' freelance editing gig in June.

And then I can afford to shop (maybe?)!

I’ve been crushing on the American Apparel skirt that everyone seems to have, but I also seem to be a little more broke than others. I found its twinsie on sale for $7 at Target! I should go back for teal.. and yellow.

Shoes are a result of my “nude sandals” search. Possibly the closest I could find to my skin tone.. but it looks like I’ll have to get a tan!

Anyway, dolls.. I've missed you, and can't wait to get the ball (sporadically) rolling once again.

This weather can just keep on comin'. It's supposed to rain next week, though I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. I bought this dress with the intention of starting up an online store and selling it, but I ended up loving everything and couldn't part! Second Skin et al, how do you do it?

Motha effin' left boot. But I really, really liked the last photo, especially with the contrail overhead. You wouldn't believe how I MacGuyver'd my camera to get this angle. Think found objects on the roof: a block of wood and some nails. Impressive, I know.
